Vandy and Lindsey Sears
(HOW President)
Vandy and Lindsey met and fell in love while working at a men’s clothing store in the Denver area, they were married in 2004. They have two girls who have been homeschooled since the oldest was in 2nd Grade. They quickly became passionate about homeschooling and have since then become advocates for homeschoolers! Vandy works in banking and Lindsey has been an event planner as well as a Children’s ministry leader.
In their free time, they love devouring books and whipping up new recipes in the kitchen or exploring new restaurants, especially French restaurants! The Sears Family spent the last 3 years in Texas where Lindsey worked closely with the state organization for homeschooling. They are grateful for the opportunity to be back in the Rocky Mountain Region. Currently living just east of Cheyenne where they are learning about life on the prairie while raising chickens, dogs and children.
Mike and Nancy Woods
(HOW Vice President)
Mike and Nancy Woods live in Cody, Wyoming (Park County) and have four children that span grade five to high school. They have been homeschooling for over 10 years and plan to continue until their youngest finishes high school.
They serve as Vice-President.
Mike is a wild land firefighter with the USFS. Prior to children, Nancy worked in the corporate travel industry.
Matt and Sherri Roberts
(HOW Secretary)
Matt and Sherri serve as the Secretary for Homeschoolers of Wyoming.

Lance and Heather Hager

(HOW Treasurer)
Lance and Heather Hager live in Rock Springs, WY (Sweetwater County). The Hager’s have served for two years as HOW President and Vendor Hall Coordinators and continue to serve as board members and treasurers. They have been blessed with 15 years of marriage and two young children whom they’ve been homeschooling for the last three years. Lance has enjoyed his practice as a Doctor of Chiropractic for over 20 years.
Before children Heather was employed in the financial industry. Lance and Heather are committed to the homeschooling journey through high school and hope to be an encouragement and support to other families on the journey.
