Homeschoolers of Wyoming is offering great facilities to our HOW Convention Vendors at our May 16 – 17, 2008 Convention in Douglas, Wyoming at the State Fairgrounds. Our keynote speakers for 2008 are to be Israel Wayne and Skeet Savage.

The Fort Casper Facility at the Douglas State Fairgrounds will house the Vendor Hall again in 2008. An option to reserving an 8 foot table or space for $50 will be the chance to reserve an 8 x 10 foot space - with one table included - for $100. After January 31, 2008, prices go up to $75 and $125 respectively. Final deadline for registration is May 1, 2008.

Please note that in addition to door prizes, we are implementing a “$5 OFF” coupon option which will be noted on the vendor registration form. H.O.W. will print these for you, and we will distribute them to door prize winners. H.O.W. greatly appreciates all the vendors who want to participate in this option. It will encourage shoppers to visit tables and to make purchases.

There is a full-sized kitchen attached to the vendor hall which will be available for the vendors’ use in preparation, dining, snacking, and lounging. Homeschoolers of Wyoming will again host a continental breakfast of juice, coffee, tea, and assorted muffins and breads for our Vendors in the kitchen on Friday morning.

The floors are concrete, and pegboard panels line the walls. There are numerous electrical outlets and a garage door to facilitate unloading and loading by vendors.

Set-up will be from 8:00 a.m. until noon on Friday, May 16, 2008. A vendor hall coordinator will be on hand to greet newly arriving vendors and also to circulate through the hall during the hall hours.

The Riverside Park, across the street from the Fairgrounds, offers free camping with the electricity extra. Homeschoolers of Wyoming has again blocked rooms at the Best Western Douglas Inn at a reduced rate of $67.15 a night (plus tax) for 2 full beds. Call 307-358-9790 for reservations. This year we have also arranged for blocked rooms at the nearby Holiday Express. These rooms are $80.00 per night, plus tax. Rooms are limited and go fairly quickly. Maps of the Douglas State Fairgrounds and directions from Interstate 25 will be sent along with the letters of confirmation, and can also be found on our website.

General Exhibit Hall Guidelines
For the enjoyment of all exhibitors and attendees we would ask all our Vendors to honor the following guidelines:

Direct all comments and suggestions to Homeschoolers of Wyoming Officers.
Because the purpose of the convention is to encourage and equip Christian home educating families, exhibitors are those offering curriculum services, opportunities, and support materials to meet this need.
All exhibits must be generally acceptable to Christian home educating parents.
You are responsible for your children at all times. If you would like your children to participate in our Youth Track or Children's Programs you will need to register them by pre-registration or at the door.
Homeschoolers of Wyoming reserves the right to refuse any exhibitor and all decisions made by the HOW Board are final. HOW reserves the right to decide the final vendor hall lay-out.
All exhibitors will need to be out of the Exhibit Hall by 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Exhibitors are responsible for collecting sales tax. Tax forms will be at your table. These need to be mailed to the WY Revenue Office after the convention.
Filling in the Vendor Registration Form thoroughly will help us to meet your needs better. Note specific needs: electricity, a wall for bookcases, etc. Please understand it is almost impossible to take care of these items at the last minute or even during the last week.
