2014 WY Legislature
Before we get to the bad news, the good news is that ALL Wyoming State Representatives and half the State Senators are up for re-election. We must replace some or watch our homeschool freedom diminish! At the end of this article are some ideas. more...

On Common Core
Fortunately, some citizens and legislators were working to eliminate common core, protect student religious liberties and protect data of public school students with proposed bills this year. These good bills were either buried by House leadership or failed introduction. WYWatch PAC, Stop Common Core in WY and WY Citizens Opposing Common Core, are some groups working for good education legislation. more...

HOW Board
Do you appreciate this HOW news letter? Do you want to see the conventions continue into the future? Do you use the HOW website? Have you ever thought about how all this is done, and who does it? The HOW Board is made up of couples that see the importance of our freedom to homeschool in Wyoming. Right now, we have three openings on the the Board. Would you consider becoming a board member? Please call 307-286-1090 for more information, or talk to any of the Board members at the convention this June. The time investment is small, and very flexable. The rewards are tremendous!

Homeschool Track Day
Dear Track Friends,
Due to State Track at Kelly Walsh being
scheduled during our usual track day date,
major construction, eliminating availability,
at Natrona County High School, and
time/event constraints for the Belveals and
Garbutts, we regret that we are not going to
be able to hold Homeschool Track and Field Day.

This year was going to be the year we both
retired and helped others take over. We will
be very happy to take the time and walk
through all the necessary details with any
individual(s) who may be interested in
organizing or coordinating the track day
for next year. If you decide you would like
to keep this tradition, get in touch with us
and we will hand over the "bullhorn" and
other things we have collected over the years.

We are thankful for the decade of fun we
have had together and so many friends we
have been privileged to meet.

Serving Him as we served you,

Nick and Michele Belveal
Jim and Nancy Jo Garbutt
